WHY I BUILT W2W

W2W started with a question I asked every morning in college. Siri could tell me the weather in seconds. But when I asked, “What should I wear?” the conversation stopped.

I was still standing in front of my wardrobe, turning a forecast into an outfit. That everyday frustration became the reason to build W2W.

I wanted an answer that started with my own clothes. W2W brings your wardrobe and the day’s weather together to help you get dressed with less guesswork and more use from what you already own.

A FEW THINGS WE CARE ABOUT

Useful enough

Getting dressed is a small decision you make every day. The app should make that decision easier.

Start with the real wardrobe.

Outfits use saved, available pieces. The recommendation should be something you can actually put on.

Explain the suggestion.

Weather, comfort, and occasion should give an outfit a reason. “Looks good” isn’t enough.

Keep the person in control.

You choose the photos, review the pieces, and tell W2W what works. The wardrobe is stored locally, with optional cloud features made explicit.
